September 13, 2009 PM Worship Service

The evening service opened with a reading from Psalm 98, recited by interim pastor Ben Dockery, and word of prayer.  Mickie Bainter called for favorite hymns to sing, and the following were chosen:

  • 427/For He Alone is Worthy
  • 426/Victory in Jesus

Dockery opened the study time with a review of church history that had previously been covered

Cross –> Persecution –> Constantine –> Middle Ages

The balance of the study focused on how the various groups of Christian branched out into the different segments.
