June 4, 2017 Morning Worship

After a busy day with many members cleaning the church building on Saturday, everyone returned Sunday morning to learn from each other and from the Word.

Today’s service began with Deacon Betty Jeffries reading Colossians 1:18-20 and saying a prayer. Associate Pastor Jacob Hatcher spoke with the gathered about the importance of the songs chosen for today, reading Hebrews 9:22 and Acts 4:11-12.  Jacob and Jaime Hatcher led the gathered  in song.

A time of fellowship was given, where everyone spent time shaking hands, giving hugs, and welcoming one another.  Senior Pastor Spencer Harmon came to the platform to share some announcements and offering a pastoral prayer.  While the ushers collected the offering, the Hatchers led everyone in more singing.

Taylor Harmon read today’s sermon text, then Associate Pastor Brandon Saunders delivered today’s message.

After the sermon, the congregation stood and sang Jesus Paid it All, and Brandon closed the service with a benediction reading.
