February 5, 2017 Morning Worship
There was much rejoicing as the sun, hidden by clouds most of the past week, returned to full view today. Â More rejoicing came from members and guests of Vine Street Baptist Church who gathered together to learn and worship together.
Today’s service began with Deacon Chandler Bainter reading 1 Corinthians 13 and saying a prayer. Â Jacob Hatcher, Associate Pastor of Worship, asked everyone to stand and sing, while he, Jaime Hatcher and Nolan Hodge accompanied.
- The Family of God
- O Church Arise
A few minutes was spent in fellowship, where everyone greeted each other with hugs and handshakes, then Associate Pastor Brandon Saunders gave a few announcements.
- Today’s sermon is from 1 John 4
- Next weeks concludes the Birthmarks sermon series
- Youth Super Party is tonight. Â All are welcome and are encouraged to come as long as they want.
- Vine Street Baptist Church is now on Facebook.
While the offering was being collected, Jacob read Romans 5 and related it to the next song.
- Amazing Love (You Are My King)
- Man of Sorrows
Senior Pastor Spencer Harmon came to the platform to read today’s scripture and present the sermon. The sermon today is the next in a new series called Birthmarks.  The full audio can be heard by clicking on the date link below, or right-click and select “Save As†to save the file to your computer.  Click on the scripture reference to follow along with the reading.
