February 28, 2016 Morning Worship
A cool Saturday changed to a warm afternoon that led into a beautiful Sunday morning for guests and members of Vine Street Baptist Church to gather together for worship.
The service opened with a reading of Psalm 107, presented by Deacon Gary Cook. Â He said a prayer, then Jacob Hatcher led some singing.
- When We All Get to Heaven
- Rock of Ages
After a few minutes in fellowship, Associate Pastor Ken Lovett brought everyone back together with some announcements:
- We continue in our study of 1st Timothy
- Justin Francis preaches on 1st Samuel 20 tonight
- A new Women’s Bible Study is forming
- Reminder about the upcoming Baby Shower
- Pastoral Concerns
After a pastoral prayer, Seth Carter read Hebrews 1, and then the gathered continued in song.
- Christ is Risen
- How Deep the Father’s Love For Us
Deacon Joe Gross said a prayer for the offering, then Hatcher played quietly on his guitar while the plates were passed.
Associate Pastor Brandon Saunders delivered today’s message.  This was the next message in multi-part sermon series on the book of 1st Timothy.
