December 24, 2014 – Christmas Eve

Vine Street Baptist Church opened the doors to members, family, friends and others in the community to a Christmas Eve Service.

The service started with Associate Pastor Ken Lovett reading Exodus 4:22-23  Charlie Moore led the gathered in singing O Come All Ye Faithful. Moore invited singers Mike & Emily Lambalet and a guest violinist to accompany him while he sang He Who is Mighty. The Lambalet’s sang Who Would Have Dreamed before Moore read Galations 4:1-7.

Noah and Nathan Bates sang We Three Kings and played their guitars, then Moore presented a Christmas Eve Sermon. The full audio can be heard by clicking on the date link below, or right-click and select “Save As” to save the file to your computer.  Click on the scripture reference to follow along with the reading.

Lovett provided instructions for a time observing the Lord’s Supper, then people responded.  The service closed with a candlelit singing of Silent Night.
